Working alone? Run through this quick checklist before every solo visit or job.

Before you go

• Tell someone where you're going and when you'll be back.
• Check your phone is charged.
• Know the address and how to get out.
• Check for any known risks at the address.
• Save your local emergency number.

When you arrive

• Trust your gut, and leave if something feels wrong.
• Keep your keys and phone on you.
• Park facing the way out.
• Don't let anyone block the exit.

When you leave

• Let your contact know you're safe.
